University of the Philippines Mindanao

The Office of Extension and Community Service will organize a community leader's consultation with the UP Mindanao’s neighboring communities on January 24, 2014 at the Gaisano Room, UP Mindanao Admnistration Building, Mintal, Tugbok District, Davao City.

Invited participants are Barangay Captains from Barangay Bago Gallera, Bago Oshiro, Catalunan Grande, Catalunan Pequeño, Mintal, Manambulan, Mulig, Sto. Niño, Tacunan and Tugbok Proper. Also invited as guest is Davao City’s Third District Representative Isidro T. Ungab and Association of Barangay Councils President January Duterte, who is also the Barangay Captain of Catalunan Grande.

Extension Coordinators/Point Persons from the University’s three colleges was also requested to be present during the event. Vice Chancellors Karen Joyce G. Cayamanda and Antonio R. Obsioma will give the Opening and Closing Remarks respectively.

The long-term goal of the said activity is to come up with collaborative public service programs that are relevant to the needs of these invited communities.
